Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs Automation System (MPTAAS) Scholarship is a Madhya Pradesh State Government Scholarship that is given to students belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) to provide economic assistance to all the students from lower classes.

The students are financially helped so that they can continue their higher education and get the benefit of the scholarship which is directly transferred into their bank accounts. The scheme is offered by the Tribal Department of the state.

Eligibility for MPTAAS Scholarship

The eligibility criteria for the MPTAAS Scholarship are,

  1. The students must be residents of Madhya Pradesh
  2. The students must belong to reserved categories like Scheduled caste (ST) and Scheduled Tribes (SC).
  3. The student’s parents should not be employed at any government institution
  4. The annual income of the student’s family (from all the sources) must be less than ₹6 lakhs.

The documents required to apply for the MPTAAS Scholarship are,

  1. Student ID proof
  2. Passport-size photograph
  3. Marksheet of the qualification examination
  4. Residential proof such as Aadhar Card/Pan Card/Voter ID
  5. Recent Fee receipt and admission letter
  6. Income Certificate
  7. Caste Certificate
  8. Student’s Bank passbook
