The E-Grants scholarships are started by the Development Department of the Government of Kerala and are an online portal that centralizes disbursement of scholarships to the students of Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Classes (OBC).
The students who are eligible as well as belong to financially weaker families are given this scholarship and the portal lists pre-matric and post-matric scholarships for all the reserved category candidates.

Eligibility for E-Grantz Scholarships
The eligibility criteria for E-Grantz Scholarships are,
Domicile: The candidates should have a domicile of Kerala.
Academic Qualification:
- The candidate must be studying at a pre-matric or post-matriculation level of studies in a recognized university/board.
- The candidate should have taken admission under merit and reservation quota.
Eligible categories: Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Background Classes (OBC), Other Eligible Communities (OECs), or other socially or economically background communities.
Income:
- There is no income limitation for SC and OECs.
- For the candidates of the OBC category, the income limit is ₹ 1 lakh per year.
- For the candidates belonging to other categories, the income limit is ₹ 1 lakh per year.
Courses Covered: Diploma, Doctoral, Degree, Polytechnique, Higher Secondary, Post Graduate, Professional, and VHSWE Courses.
E-Grantz Scholarships amount
The amounts are as follows:
